Forest2Market Names Bob Bratton as Manager, Lumber Practice
Forest2Market announced today that Robert (Bob) Bratton has joined the company. In his new role,
Bratton will lead the company’s lumber products practice.
Bratton will be responsible for driving sales of Mill2Market, the company’s suite of services
for buyers and sellers of lumber, and for managing product evolution and development. Currently,
these services include a weekly lumber price report and a quarterly benchmark.
“Forest2Market unveiled its lumber pricing service two years ago,” said Suzanne Hearn, Vice
President of Sales and Marketing. “We’ve made a lot of progress in that time, steadily increasing
our customers and growing the number of price and volume related data points from 79 to 880 on our
weekly report. We look forward to working with Bob to expand our customer base and while continuing
to provide the high quality service our customers deserve and expect.”
Bratton comes to Forest2Market with nearly 40 years of experience in the building products
industry. For the last 22 years, he owned and operated Southern Lumber Sales in North Carolina,
where he maintained an extensive contact base of suppliers and customers of lumber and building
materials both domestic and off shore.

retail sides of the business make him an ideal addition to the Forest2Market team,” said Pete
